Create an account or log in

User names and passwords are caSe sEnsiTive! For help, see Help:How to log in.

If you don't have an account yet, it is easy to create one. Choose a user name (something short and easy to remember) and a password (you have to enter the password twice — once in each half of the form). Most people log in with a nickname but provide their real name too. Do whatever you feel comfortable with.

You don't have to enter your email address or real name if you don't want to, but both are recommended. If you enter an email address, then if you forget your password you can have a new one sent to you. Also, it lets people contact but doesn't tell them your email address. (Only you can do that.)

If you have forgotten your password: the wiki software can email you a new one — but only if it already knows your email address. If you entered your email address when you created your account, then just fill in your user name and click the "mail me a new password" button. You'll have a new one in your in-box within seconds. (Then you can log in and change it to something easier to remember if you like.)

If you can't remember your password and you didn't give your email address in the first place (or you changed your email address later), then the wiki software has no way of telling who you really are, so it won't send you a password. You need a human for help with this problem: the Webmaster will be pleased to help.
